We can select the right combination of musicians and singers from a single performer, a trio or quartet to a full band and meet your budget. LIVERPOOLJAZZ RADIO PROGRAMME ONLINE
On the first Tuesday of each month Liverpooljazz presents a one hour radio programme called The Jazz Hour on the Liverpool Community radio station KVFM-Online. We play great jazz classics, easy listening jazz and chat and inform listeners as to what's going on in live jazz performance around Merseyside, bring you up to date with local and regional jazz festivals and events and round up the programme with interviews with local jazz musicians and play their own music. The programme goes out live at 5pm to 6pm on the first Tuesday of the month and is then looped numerous times thereafter with a time table or schedule you can select from. EXHIBITION OF JAZZ PHOTOGRAPHY
SEFTON SAMUELS : JAZZ LEGENDS
Five decades of work by northwest of England based, leading British photographer Sefton Samuels will be exhibited at The Kings Place Gallery, 90 York Way, London N1 9AG from 15th October - 26 November 2010.
The Jazz Legends collection is the result of Sefton Samuel's lifetime spent with his cameras in smoke filled jazz clubs, capturing the biggest names as they performed. His photographs of Louis Armstrong, Count Basie, Courtney Pine, Dizzy Gillespie, Ronnie Scott, Duke Ellington and more are distinguished by an intimacy which captures the soul of the performances.
