Liverpooljazz promotes bands at the Wigan international jazz festival A new feature of the 2009 festival was an evening concert which showcased bands representing regions local to Wigan.Alongside, Southport and Manchester, Liverpooljazz was invited to field two groups; ‘Stringsmith’ with trumpeter Martin Smith and pianist Rob Stringer creating smooth dinner jazz at Rigalettos Restaurant and "6ixToys" who gave a lively performance bringing the house down at the JJB Stadium concert room. 6ixToys also stopped the pedestrian traffic with their exciting open air performance in Wigan’s Market Place. |
